WM Course 8 – Workforce Planning

This course itemizes the elements of workforce planning, including the analysis of overall organizational needs, determination of individual position requirements, and succession planning. Workforce planning allows a court leader to determine and maintain appropriate staffing to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. Recognize the importance of a strategic workforce plan in the operations of a court and the achievement of its overall missions, goals, and objectives
  2. Identify the levels of workforce planning and the components of each
  3. Develop a strategic workforce plan to address staffing needs for the court
